摘要:The Lindblad equation is a widely used quantum master equation to model the dynamical evolution of open quantum systems whose states are described by density matrices. These solution matrices are characterized by semi-positiveness and trace preserving properties, which must be guaranteed in any physically meaningful numerical simulation. In this talk, full- and low-rank exponential Euler integrators are discussed for approximating the Lindblad equation that preserve positivity and trace unconditionally. Theoretical results are presented that provide sharp error estimates for the two classes of exponential integration methods. Results of numerical experiments are discussed that illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed schemes.

报告人简介:陈浩,重庆师范大学数学科学学院教授,中国仿真算法专业委员会委员主要从事微分方程数值解和数值线性代数等领域的研究,先后主持国家自然科学基金及省级科研项目多项,在《J. Comput. Phys.》、《Numer. Linear. Alge. Appl.》、《BIT》、《J. Sci. Comput.》等计算数学重要刊物上发表科研论文30余篇
